On January 21st, our DFCU team attended Alameda Elementary’s PTA walk n roll, a health and wellness event dedicated to bringing families together to promote healthy lifestyles. Families got the opportunity to visit vendor tables and booths for helpful information and tips on how to maintain an active life and even jam out to some live music! We were happy to provide visitors such as students, parents, and teachers with any life-specific advice on loans, savings accounts, and more. Happy Halloween everyone! DFCU was happy to host our first walk-through Trunk or Treat since the pandemic drive-thru! On October 27th many of our special cub-account holders attended our Trunk or Treat event which was located at our DFCU branch. There was candy, food vendors, cool costumes, a DJ, and even the Berenstain Bears made an appearance! This free event was provided as a big thanks and reward to our lovely members for being cub-account holders. But also because we love to get into the Halloween spirit! We were very excited to be celebrating and sharing the joy of Halloween with our lovely community of Downey. DFCU is happy to have provided everyone who attended with a fun night!
